I’ve done a few things. Here are some pictures of some of my sewing projects. Sorry for the quick photos from my iPhone. Many of them are snapshotty.
Created for my Mom for Christmas, this little sunshine is a fluffy little satin guy I created as an inspiration of the song “The Sun is Gonna Shine” by The Blazing Edisons (a local Tucson band and my friends).
I created this Steampunk costume for Halloween. This project nearly killed me due to the complexity and short time frame. You can’t really see the texture of the fabric or the brocade, but I assure it’s really cool!
This is Grump. Grump was originally a mushroom idea drawing I did a long time ago. I came across the drawing and thought I could make it into some kind of stuffed animal. The fabric is just leftover fabric from some other project. The red is a velvety sort of brocade and the stem is made from curtain fabric I think. The face was done by hand with needle and embroidery thread. This one was given as a gift to a friend of mine.
